I never liked the term “soft-skills”. It has never sat well with me. It should be called “Human skills”. And it’s nice to see someone advocating and hating the same term.

Having soft-skills doesn’t make you weaker at all. There is no point in being a leader and having no one following you because being a leader means having followers. Metrics to measure “human skills” are very important.
